【摘要】:1.1Thisisaguidetodevelopingfirehazardassessmentsforrailtransportationvehicles.Ithasbeenwrittentoassistprofessionals,includingfiresafetyengineers,whowishtoassessthefiresafetyofrailtransportationvehicles,duringoraftertheirdesign(seealso).Thisguideisnotinitselfafirehazardassessmentnordoesitprovideacceptancecriteria;thus,itcannotbeusedforregulation.1.2Hazardassessmentisaprocessthatresultsinanestimateofthepotentialseverityofthefiresthatcandevelopunderdefinedscenarios,oncedefinedincidentshaveoccurred.Hazardassessmentdoesnotaddressthelikelihoodofafireoccurring.Hazardassessmentisbasedonthepremisethatanignitionhasoccurred,consistentwithaspecifiedscenario,andthatpotentialoutcomesofthescenariocanbereliablyestimated.1.3Consistentwith,thisguideprovidesmethodstoevaluatewhetherparticularrailpassengerdesignsprovideanequalorgreaterleveloffiresafetywhencomparedtodesignsdevelopedbasedonthetraditionalapplicablefire-test-responsecharacteristicapproachescurrentlywidelyusedinthisindustry.Suchapproacheshavetypicallybeenbasedonprescriptivetestmethodologies.Thefollowingareexamplesofsuchlistsofprescriptivetests:therequirement
