【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverslubricatinggreasessuitablefortheperiodicrelubricationofchassissystemsandwheelbearingsofpassengercars,trucks,andothervehicles.Thisspecificationdefinestherequirementsusedtodescribethepropertiesandperformancecharacteristicsofchassisgreasesandwheelbearinggreasesforservice-fillapplications.Thetestrequirements(acceptancelimits)giveninthisspecificationare,asthecasemaybe,minimumormaximumacceptablevaluesforvalidduplicatetestresults.Noadditionalcorrectionsfortestprecision,suchasdescribedinPracticeD3244,aretobeappliedinasmuchastheprecisionofthetestmethodswastakenintoaccountinthedeterminationoftherequirements.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgivenininch-poundunitsareforinformationonly.
