【摘要】:1ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesasystemfortheidentificationandpresentationofinformationaboutswapbodies.Theidentificationsystemisintendedforgeneralapplication,forexampleindocumentation,controlandcommunications(includingautomaticdataprocessingsystems),aswellasfordisplayontheswapbodiesandothernonISOcontainers(i.e.:whichdimensionsandtestingparametersdifferfromthosedefinedbytheapplicableISOstandards)usedinEuropeantransport.Themethodsofdisplayingidentificationandcertainotherdata(includingoperationaldata)onswapbodiesbymeansofpermanentmarksareincluded.2ThisEuropeanStandardspecifies:a)aswapbodyidentificationsystemwithanassociatedsystemforverifyingtheaccuracyofitsuse,having:-mandatorymarksforthepresentationoftheidentificationsystemforvisualinterpretation;and-featurestobeusedinoptionalAutomaticEquipmentIdentification(AEI)andElectronicDataInterchange(EDI);b)acodingsystemfordataonswapbodysizeandtype,withcorrespondingmarksfortheirdisplay;c)mandatoryoperationalmarks;d)physicalpresentationofthemarksontheswapbody.3ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcovertemporaryoperationalmarksofanykind,permanentmarks,dataplates,etc.whichmayberequiredbyintergovernmentalagreements,nationallegislationornon-governmentalorganisationsotherthanCEN.NOTESomeofthemajorinternationalconventionswhosecontainer-markingrequirementsarenotcoveredinthisEuropeanStandardareasfollows:-InternationalConventionforSafeContainers(UN/IMO1992);-CustomsConventiononContainers1956and1972;-CustomsConventiononInternationalMovementofGoodsunderCoverofTIRCarnets(TIR-Convention)1959and1975.Itshouldnottobeassumedthatthislistisexhaustive.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverthedisplayoftechnicaldataonswaptanks(seeEN1432)nordoesit,inanyway,includeidentificationmarksorsafetysignsforitemsofcargowhichmaybecarriedinswapbodies.
