【摘要】:Historically,tireshavebeentestedforendurancebyavarietyoftestmethods.Sometypicaltestingprotocolshavebeen:(1)provinggroundsorhighwaytestingoverarangeofspeeds,loads,andinflations,(2)testingonfleetsofvehiclesforextendedperiodsoftime,and(3)nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;indoor(laboratory)testingoftiresloadedonarotating1.707-mdiameterroadwheel;however,thecurvedsurfaceofa1.707-mdiameterroadwheelresultsinasignificantlydifferenttirebehaviorfromthatobservedonaflatorhighwaysurface.Thispracticeaddressestheneedforprovidingequivalenttestseverityoverarangeoftypicaltireoperatingconditionsbetweena1.707-mdiameterroadwheelsurface(PracticeF551)andaflatsurface.Therearedifferentdeformationsofthetirefootprintoncurvedversusflatsurfacesresultingindifferentfootprintmechanics,stress/straincycles,andsignificantlydifferentinternaloperatingtemperaturesforthetwotypesofcontactsurface.Sincetireinternaltemperaturesarekeyparametersinfluencingtireenduranceoroperatingcharacteristicsundertypicaluseconditions,itisimportanttobeabletocalculateinternaltemperaturedifferentialsbetweencurvedandflatsurfacesforarangeofloads,inflationpressuresandrotationalvelocities(speeds).Datafromlabandroadtiretemperaturemeasurementtrialswerecombined,statisticallyanalyzed,andtiretemperaturepredictionmodelsderived.Thefitofthemodelstothedataisshownasthecoefficientofdetermination,R2,forthetwocriticalcrownareatemperatures,i.e.treadcenterlineandbeltedge,aswellastheplyendingarea:R2=0.89,0.90,and0.89respectivelyThesepredictionmodelswereusedtodevelopthepredictionprofilersdescribedinSection7andAnnexA1.1.1Thispracticedescribestheproceduretoidentifyequivalenttestseverityconditionsbetweena1.707-mdiameterlaboratoryroadwheelsurfaceandaflatorhighwaysurfaceforcommercialradialtruck-bustires.1.1.1Tireoperationalseverity,asdefinedastherunningoroperationaltemperatureforcertainspecifiedinternaltirelocations,isnotthesameforthesetwotestconditions.Itistypicallyhigherforthelaboratoryroadwheelatequalload,speedandinflationpressureconditionsduetothecurvatureeffect.1.1.2ThepracticeappliestospecificoperatingconditionsofloadrangeFthroughLforsuchcommercialradialtruck-bustires.1.1.3ThespecificoperatingconditionsunderwhichtheproceduresofthepracticearevalidandusefularecompletelyoutlinedinSection6(Limitations)ofthisstandard.1.1.4Itisimportanttonotethatthisstandardiscomposedoftwodistinctformats:1.1.4.1TheusualtextformataspublishedinthisvolumeoftheBookofStandards(Vol09.02).1.1.4.2Aspecialinteractiveelectronicformatthatusesaspecialsoftwaretool,designatedaspredictionprofilersorprofilers.Thisspecialprofilermaybeusedtodeterminelaboratorytestconditionsthatprovideequivalenttireinternaltemperaturesforthetreadcenterline,beltedge,orplyendingregionforthetwooperationalconditions,thatis,thecurvedlaboratoryroadwheelandflathighwaytestsurfaces.1.2Thepredictionprofilersarebasedonempiricallydevelopedlinearregressionmodelsobtainedfromtheanalysisofalargedatabasethatwasobtainedfromacomprehensiveexperimentaltestprogramforroadwheelandflatsurfacetestingoftypicalcommercialtruckandbustires.SeeSection7andReferences(1,2)【英文标准名称】:StandardTestMethodforEstimatingElectromigrationMedianTime-to-FailureandSigmaofIntegratedCircuitMetallizations[Metric]
